Project Partnerships with UK Individuals and Organisations
Uganda Development Services is often asked for assistance by individuals or organisations that already have an idea for a project in Uganda. Sometimes these projects are already up and running - but need a bit of expert help or advice. With our resources in the UK and Uganda, we are able to help provided their projects are in line with our own charitable objectives.
UDS welcomes such partnerships - indeed through our Ufund division, over the last year, we have assisted more than 200 projects of this type in areas such as education, agricultural support, health, child welfare etc.
The assistance we are able to offer usually falls one of the following areas:-
- Efficient Giving: we partner with individuals and organisations in the UK to ensure that any donations that are eligible attract Gift Aid; funds are delivered swiftly and in the most cost-efficient way to the intended recipients in Uganda. We can also provide a full audit trail for the delivery of the funds.
- In-country logistics: we can assist with our local knowledge, and transport (a subsidised minibus and driver for donor / supporter visits).
- Project Consultancy: we can also assist with feasibility studies, project management and monitoring & evaluation to help you achieve your objectives in your Ugandan work.
